Complex shapes, materials and coatings… you name it and we will probably have had a similar application in the (recent) past. Our tooling shops in Eygelshoven (NL) and Munich (DE) are experienced in developing and building complex forms and dies. Different materials like PEEK, Rubber, metals, etc. have passed in the past 100 years of tooling.

Most of the forms and dies have been built for the automotive industry, but in the past years also the medical and packaging industry took their part in GDO’s form and die development.

GDO does not only fabricate the forms and dies, but it is also responsible for the design. Three experienced Engineers specialized in Tooling design our forms using different kinds of software: Inventor, Unigraphics and Visi CAD/CAM

GDO has a relatively unique position as it is the owner of a large milling machine. The bed length of 4,0 m, the width of 1,2 m and the height of 1,4 m provides the capability of many unique machining treatments within one clamping.

 
To finalize the summary of our machining capabilities that are needed for toolmaking we have EDM wire-cutting capabilities in at Tooling Munich and EDM sinking at Tooling Eygelshoven.
