The pressurized Container called Torp is one of the newest products from Heineken. A young and successful man should always have a so-called “Sub” (or submarine) in the house, which can hold different kinds of Torps (torpedo’s), all with different kinds of flavors. When friends visit, you of course want to give each and every one of them a special beer. Perfect.

The half-fabricate of the Torp is a preform with a valve welded on top. Our machine was developed for the preparation of these half-fabricates.

Fully automated, supply and assembly of pressurized Container . The two different moulds made of high-tech plastic are positioned by a robot and get merged. After the merge a laser marks the container. During the Welding of the two moulds and the added valve the machine conducts a high-precision Quality Control of the height and the bevel seam. Rejected parts are sorted out automatically. After assembly, completed parts are positioned in a blister for packaging.
